Apr. 8, 2017 Compatriot Dick Lee was recognized by Regent Susan Cothran of the Sarah Maples DAR Chapter for his military service.

Apr. 29, 2017 Compatriots Bill Covington, John Anderson and Jerry Cope attended the TX St. Historical Marker Rededication Ceremony held by the Texas SAR Edmund Terrill Chapter at the Oakwood Cemetery in Denison, TX. The grave sites of Dr. Lawrence & Martha Washington, gt nephew of George Washington, were cleaned up and rededicated.
