SAR Adams Middle School Brochure Contest
Purpose
The aim of the Sgt. Moses Adams Memorial Middle School Brochure Contest is to stimulate interest in American Revolutionary history in support of the established school curriculum. This completion was begun to aid studies at the school grades following elementary school and before the sophomore grade in high school.

"The Foundational Documents of the United States", including the following:
- Articles of Confederation
- Declaration of Independence
- Constitution
- Federalist Papers
- Bill of Rights
Eligibility
This contest is directed at students in the 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grades of public school, parochial, home schooled, Scouting, and Children of the American Revolution member students in that same grade range.
An entry will be accepted separately only in the case where America's Revolutionary period is not specifically covered during these middle school grades. In the case where the local school system or its equivalent is participating, the entry must always originate through the school and not as a separate entry.

Mid December to the local Chapter, please contact the Chapter Chairman as needed. See the below Texas SAR link for more scheduling information.
Judged Criteria
Brochures must be a standard 8½ x 11 inch trifold size and will be judged using a scoring rubric focusing on the following elements:
- Content
- Creativity
- Correctness
Awards
- Our chapter winner top 3 winners will recieve $25 and will advance to compete at the Texas State Society Conference (once the Permission / Release form is completed).
- The Texas State Society Conference winners will receive:
- 1st Place – $300, only the 1st Place entry will advance to compete at the National level.
- 2nd Place – $200
- 3rd Place – $150
- 4th Place – $100
- 5th Place – $100
- The National winners will receive:
- 1st Place – $300
- 2nd Place – $200
- 3rd Place – $100
