The Memorial City Mall

Connected by a convenient air-conditioned sky walk from the Westin Memorial City is The Memorial City Mall.  At the epicenter of an exciting cityscape, Memorial City Mall blends casual urban sophistication with authentic Texas flair.  This Mall is a 1.7 million square foot regional shopping destination featuring over 150 distinctive retailers and restaurants, as well as an NHL sized ice rink, a double decker Italian carousel, and Frolic’s Castle, a fantastical children’s play area.

The Galleria

For the more adventurous of you why not drive or Uber the 8.8 miles to the Galleria?

The Galleria, an international shopping destination that hosts more than 24 million visitors annually, is a fashionista's paradise.  The Galleria is home to a who’s who list of designers, including Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, and Ralph Lauren, among many others.  Sitting alongside the upscale boutiques are anchor stores Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and two Macy's department stores, adding up to more than 2 million square feet of shopping thrills.

More than 700 retailers, fine dining, sports, and hotels sit within two square miles.  Inside Texas' largest shopping mall, the Galleria, are more than 375 stores and 30 restaurants with endless food options.  On the lowest level, in the heart of the food court, guests can put their skating skills to the test on an ice rink made famous by Olympian Tara Lipinski or, grab the kids and head for the child-focused Little Galleria Play Area, located on the second level in front of Borders.

Houston Premium Outlets

A short 21 minute drive, covering 20 miles by highway, from the Westin Memorial City Host Hotel will take you to the Houston Premium Outlets featuring 145 designer and name-brand outlet stores including Armani Outlet, Burberry, Nike, Kate Spade New York, and Tory Burch.  Shoppers can enjoy upscale outlet shopping at a wide range of retailers from designer apparel to jewelry and fine leather, with potential savings of 25 to 65 percent every day.

The mall is single-level with a village style design and southwest architectural theme reflecting the area's history.  Pedestrian outdoor courtyards and covered walkways provide all-weather shopping comfort year round.  Their hours of operation are Monday – Saturday: 10:00am–9:00pm and Sunday – 11:00am–7:00pm.
